Po Hee/Deep Fried Fish

It's definite one of my favourites, simple and delicious! It's crispy down to the bones, so everything could be eaten. Bigger fish maybe used for this recipe but will not be as crispy.


Ingredients:

sardines or other small fish
turmeric powder
salt


Chili sauce:

fresh chillies
lime


Method:

Clean fish and marinate with salt for 5 minutes. drain off excess water and coat fish with turmeric powder. Deep fry till crispy. Serve with chili sauce with plenty of lime juice.
