Okra (Lady's Fingers)

A popular and delicious vegetable with a distinct flavour originated in Africa, it is covered in fine hair and is rather slimy when cut, for that reason, it's often used whole. It is also delicious raw. Usually smaller young pods are preferred as matured ones tend to be fibrous and tough.
