Jaggi's North Indian Food

Long queue ! 10 minutes to wait.

Curry for 4 persons.

This is the way
we should eat curry.
Today we went to a curry stall in Keppel Road, on the opposite side of IBM towers. It is in the coffee shop called H.L.Y. Eating House, which is located at the left most corner of the Tanjoung Pagar Complex. As you see from the photo on the left, there was a long queue.

We ordered today (big plates from left) Bean Curry, Fish Curry, (right behind) B>Dhall Curry, (small plates from left) Okra Curry, Egg Curry, Potato Curry, and (left behind) Chapati. In addition, chili is served on a small dish. Today, we paid 22 dollars for 4 persons. I suspect we paid unduly high price as we wore quite well :~)

Fish curry tastes somewhat similar to Sambal and delicious. Other curry dishes taste what we usually expect from curry. Everything tasted mild and good.

As the meal was excellent, 3 pieces of chapati for each were not enough and we ordered additionaly a piece of Prata for each and fish curry gravy. Prata is a little bit more moist and tasty (but looks like more oily), though chapati fits well to curry dishes.
