This is one of the food stalls in Soon Seng Restaurant, Blk. 107, Ang Mo Kio Ave.4. It's just right of the chicken rice stall.

Because the cook was beautifully handling his utencils and friendly, and good smell reached my nose, I ordered a small plate. That was very much delicious (^o^).

I think, carrot cake is also quite unique to Singapore. Usual Westerners associate "carrot cake" with sweet and red color cake. Carrot cake here is another thing. Not sweet nor red. It's rather similar to scrambled egg, but with much rice flour.
Mixture of flour and egg together with white(!) carrot is stirred on frying pan. (See picture) I have not seen WHITE carrot and think that may be radish. But my wife says there are white and red carrot sorts and this is not radish. Maybe.

Not everywhere is the carrot cake tasty. But, this here was very good and the stall was crowded till late at night.

P.S.
I got assurance from Thian (Webmaster of Makan Time) that white carrot ( maybe "bai luobo" in Mandarin) is in fact radish and not carrot. I have to tell my wife :-) (Jan.7 late at night)
