Ingridients : 500 gr beef, cut into 5 x 1/2 x 1/2 cm 2 dsp sweet soya sauce 1 tsp petis ikan ( fish paste )* 5 shallots 2 cloves garlic 1 cm fresh ginger 2 tsp salt 2 cutted red peppers 250 ml water 3 dsp oil for frying Method : - Grind fine the shallots, garlic, and ginger. - Bring into boil the meat, paste, salt, fish paste, sweet soya sauce, and water till the meat is tender ( put some more hot water if it needed ) and cook till the liquid getting thick. - Heat the oil in a pan and fried the meat for about 5-7 minutes - Add the cut red peppers to the meat and cook again for about 2 minutes or wait till the meat is dry. - serve garnished with fine cut white cabage and chili soya sauce. For Chili soya sauce : 1/2 cup sweet soya sauce 20 cut rawits ( green small pappers ) 3 chopped shallots 1 tsp lime juice 3 tsp light soya sauce - Mix well all these ingridients and served. * Petis is typical black sauce from Madura/surabaya, it's made from fish and shrimp.
