About Myself

     I am rather publicity-shy, but the people in www.sg who invited me to write this HomePage, said that I should include a photo of myself, together with some words about myself. Well, I am 51 years old,  a teacher with Educom, teaching school children the joys of the computer, the Internet, creative writing, doing project work and so on. This is the best job I have ever had, and working with young children and animals ( I was once a birdkeeper at the Jurong Birdpark) makes me feel closer to God. But then I have been the proverbial rolling stone as far as jobs are concerned, having seen many different kinds of 'working worlds', from soldiering to music, to engineering, economic research, shipping, finance and business.
     I spend the available time I have pursuing my various hobbies which include cooking and eating, playing the jazz guitar, and working out at the gym. My current passion is the exploration of artficial intelligence and artificial life software.
     Life is so fun at this age. I can do whatever I want, and not do whatever I don't like. As it is, I just can't find enough time to do all the things I want.
