Tee Kar Chor / Pig leg in Vinegar

This dish is specially for woman after giving birth, my sister had a fair share of it when my niece and nephew were born. It's good in many ways but I could only remember that ginger gets rid of the "wind".

Mom uses a whole kilo of ginger always!! It's very sour, very hot and rather sweet. Mom makes it when the weather is cold. it's our winter food:-)

Ingredients:

black vinegar(enough to cover the meat)
Tee Kar (leg of pig) - big pieces
ginger(a lot!!) - crushed
brown sugar

Method:

Throw everything in the slow cooker and cook for at least a day.
Best eten after serveral days!
